A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas

R for “adult themes” such as beer pong, whorehouses, and male appendages frozen to telephone poles – because apparently “adult” is a synonym for “juvenile”

Release Date: November 4, 2011

It seems at this point like Neil Patrick Harris has better things to do.

Like host every award ceremony ever. Or star in How I Met Your Mother and Sondheim. Or arrange his twins’ playdates with Elton John’s kid. Or – you know – catch a nap, or try out a new recipe, or beat his high score on winterbells.

Not that I have anything against getting high with Kal Penn – if it’s good enough for Barack Obama, it’s good enough for me. But Neil Patrick Harris is a busy man, and I’m not convinced this film belongs on his to-do list.

Although if Smurfs makes the cut, it’s hard to quibble.

  1. I love all of your reviews. In fact, I won’t even consider seeing a movie without reading your review first. They are all so funny and so insightful. You are an incredible person.

    Love, your father
